Garden and terraces
The private garden in Le Four a Pain is enclosed with a traditional French stone wall. It has a large terrace, surrounded by soft planting, olive trees, a palm tree and herbs along with steps up to the large lawned area.
Here guests will find (and can pick from) delicious fruit trees. It’s perfect for escaping the hot summer sun and for those in search of the shade. It’s well equipped with a table and chairs, along with a barbecue for alfresco dining.
In a secluded spot of the walled garden, there is an additional raised terrace with sun loungers and parasol, perfect for a quiet read. Wooden doors from the walled garden open out onto a lavender lined pathway, giving guests private access to the shared 11.5 x 5m pool, which boasts beautiful views over the Châtignac valley.
Wood fired hot tub
On the terrace guests will find a luxurious wood fired hot tub. Heated by wood and including air jets and ambient lighting, it’s the perfect spot to sit back and relax with a glass of something. As well as being a great star gazing location on clear evenings.
Please note the first basket of logs is with our compliments, there is a small charge for additional baskets after that. Hot tubs are emptied and disinfected before refilling for each new booking. The water is tested by us daily and we will change the water regularly depending upon usage.
